Susan Parker Rosen was born in Pa, attending school and graduated from Deptford H.S. Deptford, NJ and now resides at the beach in Delaware. She has had college courses in Business and Communications, which she attended in the evenings at Temple University and has received many top sales awards from her ‘Community Home Sales’ career.
She always has had an interest in writing; she decided to write a novel; when in a dream, one of her favorite Aunts hugged her and spoke to her saying “Start with a blank piece of paper.” Unemployed at the time and struggling to make a change, Susan Parker Rosen, did just that.
Susan’s first book “The Bastard Child” was a story she describes with passion “just had to be told” as her Great Grandmother was missing; which she believes was due to her admittance to the Magdalene Laundries of the Victorian Period.
“I didn’t write my first story until I was over 60 years old” and also found her soul mate, new Husband Tim Latham, at age 64. They both reside in Long Neck De where Susan also has a Real Estate business from home, with their Pug, Effie, their Pomchi, Nikki and their kitty, Saki.
She enjoys hearing from readers. Here is what one reader had to say about her book “The Bastard Child:”
“Everything I love was in this novella. Susan Parker Rosen has spun a yarn that was alarming, spooky, mysterious, and action packed.”
Susan’s newest work, “Cold Case in Cape May” was released in November 2017. I’m excited about this new release; as I grew up vacationing in Cape May.” Which she did every summer since she could remember. “My grandmother purchased one of the first North Cape May homes in the 60s. I literally watched the tired town of Cape May grow into a eclectic beach town with the influence of excellent gourmet restaurants, live music and lovely shops.”
She put the fictional story together in a beach town that is intensely adored by thousands, with mentions of local sites and businesses. Add a mix of suspense and sleuth detectives, you then have a story that will capture the hearts of Cozy Mystery lovers as well as Cape May lovers alike.
